On the Radar

On the radar for this week are stocks in the Gold sector. The Gold Index is starting to turn to the upside after pulling back from the $936.00 per ounce 4 weeks ago. The AMEX Gold Bugs Index, the Philadelphia Gold and Silver Index, and the Goldman Sachs Precious Metals Price Index are all starting to turn to the upside but the move has not been confirmed. The Gold Index ended the week at $730.30 per troy ounce down 57.40 or 7.29 percent after falling to a low of $681.00. The stocks on the radar for this week in the Gold sector are (GG) Goldcorp, (ABX) Barrick Gold, (AUY) Yamana Gold, (AEM) Agnico Eagle Mines and (SA) Seabridge Gold, HMY) Harmony Gold, (KGC) Kingross Gold, (BVN) Compania de Minas Buenaventura, (EGO) Eldorado Gold, and (RTP) Rio Tinto PLC to name a few.
